Terms & Conditions

This is a private site with no government affiliation. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers consumer reports or FCRA-covered services for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant screening. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

Hopkins County Busted Mugshots is a privately owned reference that points visitors toward jail, police, court, corrections, and public-record resources in Hopkins County and Kentucky. It is not connected to a sheriff, jail, police department, corrections agency, court, or government office. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a document.

Some links lead to outside research and search tools. Those providers operate their own services under separate terms.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the service lawfully and without harming others or the site's operation. You agree not to:

  • Break any applicable law while using the site.
  • Stalk, harass, threaten, impersonate, or endanger another person.
  • Use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated eligibility decision.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, code, or data.
  • Operate automated bots, scrapers, or bulk extraction tools.
  • Disrupt access, overload systems, or interfere with another visitor.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use site information to make a hiring or firing decision, screen a tenant or housing applicant, assess creditworthiness or insurance pricing, decide licensing or public-program eligibility, or carry out another FCRA-covered purpose.

Third-Party Destinations

Links may lead to jail and booking resources, sheriff or police pages, corrections systems, courts, legal resources, federal locators, news sites, and outside search providers. Hopkins County Busted Mugshots does not control or endorse their content, uptime, pricing, security, privacy practices, or data handling. Review the destination's terms before using it.

No Warranties

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. Partner results may be limited, incomplete, or unrelated to the person sought.

Custody, charges, office details, and public records change frequently. Nothing here is an official statement by Hopkins County, a sheriff, police agency, jail, court, or corrections department.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive losses arising from access, use, inability to use, outside links, inaccurate information, or reliance on content.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site, its operators, and content partners from claims, losses, costs, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use, misuse, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

Ownership of Content

Site text, graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Hopkins County Busted Mugshots or the relevant content partners unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, republish, distribute, modify, or create derivative material without written permission, except where law expressly permits.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version becomes effective when posted. Continued use after an update means the revised terms govern that use.

Access May End

Access may be limited, suspended, or terminated at any time, with or without notice, when needed to protect the service, enforce these terms, comply with law, or for another lawful reason.

Kentucky Governing Law

These terms are governed by Kentucky law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kentucky.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
